Latin America
Volatility and change are known characteristics of the 20 diverse economies which make up Latin America. A less recognised one is insurance growth. The resilience of the insurance sector through periods of economic turbulence is evident through its persistent growth.
Populations are increasing and becoming wealthier, driving the need to protect assets and driving housing and infrastructure needs. Across the region, insurance penetration rates are low and point to underserved markets.
Opportunities through expanding markets and new products await businesses looking for growth and diversification into new markets.
